Carson Middle School Intermediate Band
Open to students by audition or teacher recommendation, the intermediate band is where we focus on higher level music and more advanced musical techniques. This band begins the year with fundamentals, including learning how to march in preparation for the Nevada Day Parade, Veterans Day Parade, and the Sparks Hometowne Christmas Parade. This band also performs in the winter and spring concerts, as well as at least one band festival (typically in March/April). Select members from this ensemble will be members of the Honor Band and many go on to perform in Carson Middle School's Advanced Band or Carson High School's Wind Ensemble.
